Petsmart Manager


Petsmart Manager in St. Augustine, Fl Nicole Warren- she comes in the back where Banfield is located- she enters the clinic where only associates are allowed to go- I was the CSC there and I was getting her cat released in order to check her out. She comes storming through the door, causing the door to slam hard, demanding me to check her out. I told her that we were just finishing her notes to be checked out. She was very angry and when I returned to the front desk, she was talking with two other Petsmart employees. I don't interrupt her for fear of more of the harsh attitude I had already seen. I checked her out and was printing the receipt when she asked me if I was having a bad day. I replied "no, I'm fine". She continues to ask me two more times "what's wrong?". At this point, I think she is just being friendly because there are witnesses now. She and I had always talked and I felt that we were friends or at least really good aquaintences. So I finally said that I was taken aback by her rough demeanor. She said she was "afraid I had forgotten about her". My reply was that "no, of course not, I just had to get the nurse to finish the notes." She then said "you weren't even talking about me". I said that I was asking the nurse about another client that I had to return an answer to. And that I was multitasking while I waited for the nurse to finish her notes in order to check Nicole out. I felt that my tone was polite and not condescending. A week later, I get written up by my boss because Nicole has said I was impolite. The same day that this happened, the othe Petsmart manager Scott, said I hit him with the bank bag and when he told me that I hit him him with the bank vag, I ignored him. I have never had an altercation with this guy and he has no proof. Still I got written up for this. A month later, he has been terminated and no one knows why. My boss didn't seem to care about this when she was letting me go yesterday for staying on the clock when I was too busy with clients to walk away. I had a customer on the phone even. The doctor told be to leave and as I did, I told the other girl that I couldn't answer anything more because I was off the clock. I should have just let everyone go and left on time. But instead of getting a second chance, I was let go because I had been written up because of the Petsmart managers. I have witnessed Scott be rude with customers in the past and have not said anything. Nicole could have been nicer to me but she was in a hurry. I don't feel that I should have lost my job. This job mattered to me.
